In October 2007, LPA’s Executive Council approved a revised membership and Industry Service Fee structure. This revised model was based on refinements to the existing model that had been in place since 1988.
For further enquires about the Industry Service Fee (ISF), please contact email@example.com or 03 8614 2000.
The Industry Service Fee is collected by venues, and is paid by the hirer, and submitted to LPA. The Industry Service Fee is levied on a user-pays basis, to reflect the varying levels of hiring activity and venue size. This fee covers any possible industrial or other activity associated with any given performance or production.
The Fee assists LPA to provide responsive and professional service across all areas of the industry, not only industrial, contract and resource matters, but also on major policy issues, self regulation and industry development.
The ISF is collected by venues, and is paid by the hirer, and submitted to Live Performance Australia (LPA).
Some hirers, producers and promoters of productions where a cap may apply or where the production is presented in a non-member venue can pay directly
All LPA venue members will be required to pay the ISF on self produced events.
LPA offers practical information to help production companies, tours, venues and events become more energy efficient.
LPA provides Members with support in regards to the preparation of applications for the Subclass 408 Temporary Activity Visa to import overseas artists and associated personnel into Australia.
