Live Performance Australia Director of Policy and Programs Suzanne Daley met with Victorian venues today to present the first suite of tailored energy efficiency resources and tools for the industry - which is now available online on the Greener Live Performances through Energy Efficiency web page.
The resources cover topics such as Energy Efficient Stage Lighting, How to Conduct a Touring Energy Audit, the Power Planning Pathway for Outdoor Events, Retrofitting HVAC in Your Venue, Building Management Systems, Managing Peak Electricity Demand and much more.
Venue Managers have responded positively to the new resources, particularly the Venue GHG Calculator, which allows venues to baseline measure and benchmark against other Australian venues of a similar size, with similar attendances, in a similar climate zone.
