Office Manager / Administrative Assistant — 12-month Maternity Leave Cover

We are currently seeking a full-time Office Manager / Administrative Assistant (12-month contract) to join our dynamic team at Live Performance Australia.

LPA is the peak body for Australia’s live arts and entertainment industry, with approximately 400 Members across Australia. To enable LPA to continue to meet the needs of our Members, we are looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual to provide administrative support and assistance to the LPA team, and to ensure the LPA office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and working closely with all LPA staff, this role requires a highly organised, proactive team player with excellent written and verbal skills and a strong eye for detail.  Advanced Microsoft Office and computer literacy essential; working knowledge of EDMs, member databases and board portals a plus.

This role requires the ability to multi-task and balance deadlines, diaries and LPA’s calendar of events, as well as the booking of extensive travel.

Your main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of LPA on a day-to-day basis
  • Providing administrative support to the LPA Team
  • Fielding calls and inquiries from LPA Members and others
