The role
LPA is seeking a smart, enthusiastic, friendly, team player with working knowledge of the Australian Workplace Relations environment.
The role requires demonstrated experience in:
- Employment and workplace relations and/or industrial relations, or a similar field
- Interpreting and providing advice in respect of relevant state and federal employment and industrial relations legislation, modern awards and contracts
- Developing and maintaining effective, professional internal and external working relationships with a range of stakeholders e.g. LPA members, government, LPA board etc.
- Working co-operatively in a small team environment with tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role with tertiary qualifications in law, workplace relations, or human resources. Previous experience providing workplace relations advice will be highly regarded.
